Commission Policies
Due to the differences in types of commission, exact price will always be agreed upon after the client (you) has discussed what you want the commission to include. For example, an art commission involving an incredibly complex design may result in a greater cost than what is outlined in the commission pricing page. Any additional costs will be disclosed prior to ViolaViolets agreeing to take on the commission.
Half of the agreed upon payment is due upfront before work on the commission begins. The other half of the payment is due after the work on the commission is complete, but the commission has not been delivered to the client yet. Once the full payment has been completed, the commission will be delivered. The commission may be canceled after the first payment is made, but all payments are non-refundable.
Commission timeline will be discussed with the client (you), and may differ depending on the type of commission or complexity of the commission. The timeline of the commission always starts from when the first payment is received.
ViolaViolets will provide a work-in-progress sketch of any digital commissions to confirm design details before the final payment is expected, and allows for one round of revision requests.
ViolaViolets will be able to post completed commissions on her social media pages unless the client requests for the commission to remain private. The client is not paying for commercial rights to any commissioned artwork, it is for personal use only. The client is allowed to post the finished commission online, so long as it is clear that ViolaViolets is credited as the artist.

Return and Refund Policy
At this time, as a small artist I am unable to accept returns or refunds unless a product arrives in a damaged condition. If your item arrives damaged, you must send a photo that clearly shows the damage to [email protected] within 30 days of the item’s delivery to be considered for a refund. Damage must be obviously visible or render the item unusable for its intended purpose to be eligible for a refund, and the item must be in its original clear packaging.Thank you for your understanding.Shipping Costs
Cost of shipping is included in the price of online items. Shipping costs are higher for me than they would be for a regular store because I do not have special deals with any delivery service.
In order to avoid shipping costs, consider finding me at an in-person local market. I have a mailing list and an Instagram account where I will post about local markets I am attending.
